YES Prep Southeast
YES College Prep School in Houston, TX exists to serve children. Each child deserves a good education regardless of their zipcode! The two photos above are from events/classes at YES Prep. 10th Grade students from the Southeast campus had a service trip to the Houston Food Bank on Wednesday October 20, 2010. They worked hard to build boxes filled with food for needy Houstonians. It was awesome to see such caring and hard work. Students were rewarded with a trip to the Houston Zoo. It was definitly a fun filled day of service and good times!
The second photo is from my Art 1 class. They are working on color theory. Each student is to have an image in the middle of the paper, divide it into 6 equal parts. They paint the color wheel and paint the complimentary color in the background. Students learn about how color affects the world.
